1966-1971 Jeep CJ5 & CJ6 Fuel Tank

1966-1971 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6. This is an “Under the Passengers” seat plastic fuel tank. The sending unit is installed with a lock ring and has an angled filler neck (towards the rear tire). The fuel pick-up tube is on the sending unit. An in-line fuel filter is required. Includes a new lock ring and a new gasket.

Approx. dimensions: 25″ x 18 1/2″ x 6 1/2″. Replaces #: 937996-RH.

*This fuel tank will work with the I4 and V6 engines but requires the correct lock ring style installation method sending unit.

**This is an aftermarket "Custom" install tank. Jeep did not offer this tank originally so the tool box and any other items under the passengers seat will need to be removed. An additional fuel line will need to be run, a new sending unit, gas cap, strap, filler plate and filler plate grommet will need to be purchased. A new hole will need to be cut in the side of the CJ in order for the filler neck to come through like the drivers side.
