1978-1986 Jeep CJ 21-Gal. XL Plastic Fuel Tank

1978-1986 Jeep CJ 21-Gal. XL plastic fuel tank. This tank requires the 15-Gal. OEM style skid plate (TREXCJSP-1) for installation. The skid plate extensions are used to lower the skid plate for installation. Includes a new longer top strap, sending unit, skid plate extensions, lock ring and a new gasket. It does NOT come with the skid plate pictured. Dimensions 23" x 16" x 15". Made in the USA!

From 1981-1986, Jeep offered an OEM 20-Gal. factory "plastic" fuel tank in the CJ's. Our 21-Gal. tank does not directly replace the OEM 20-Gal. factory plastic tank. A new 15-Gal. OEM style skid plate (TREXCJSP-1), end straps (TREXCJGTSE-1) and fuel tank filler/vent hoses (TREXCJFH-1/TREXCJVH-1) are required to install this 21-Gal. tank.

*This tank will NOT physically fit in a CJ8 Scrambler, the tank hits the differential "pumpkin."
