2009-2023 Ford E-Series 55-Gal. Rear Tank

2009-2023 Ford E-Series Super Duty Cutaway & Stripped Chassis 55 gallon rear/aft axle fuel tank. Purchase of this tank includes a specifically designed sending unit gasket & stainless steel retaining rings for the sending unit and valves. This tank does NOT include a sending unit, an EMS valve(s), EMS valve gasket, straps or skid-plate. 

Approx. dimensions: 34 1/2" x 29 1/2" x 15 3/4".

*From 1999-2010, the Ford E-Series Super Duty vehicles also had a 35/37-Gal. metal fuel tank, our 4855B tank will not replace the 35/37-Gal. fuel tank. See our 4837 fuel tank above.

**2009-2010 Ford Econoline, E-250, E-350, E-450 Super Duty Cab and Chassis/Stripped Chassis/Cutaway Van 55-Gal. Rear/Aft axle had two versions of the 55-Gal. fuel tanks. We have experienced this issue with a few customers over the last five years. Please verify which version you have before ordering. The easiest way to tell is the # and location of the vent valves: TREX4855A has (3) smaller vent valve holes vs. TREX4855B on has (2) vent valve holes.

***From 2008-2025, the Ford E-Series Super Duty also had a 40 gallon metal tank -- OEM# 9C2Z-9002-C (approx. dimensions 38.6" x 33.5" x 17.7"). Our TREX4855B tank will NOT replace the 40 gallon OEM metal tank. We do offer a replacement tank for the 40 gallon OEM metal tank: TREXFOR-13-A.

****From 2017-2020 the Ford E-Series also had a 40 gallon plastic tank - OEM # HC3Z-9002-U. Our TREX4855B tank will NOT replace the 40 gallon OEM plastic tank. We do not offer a replacement for the 40 gal. OEM plastic tank.
